1858
NEW MODEL ARMY, .44 CAL.
The
stiffest competitor to Colt's 1860 Army, the New Model Army was
one of the last percussion revolvers purchased by the U.S. Army.
The solid frame design was considered to be superior to all other
designs. The rigidity of the frame with the top strap enhances
accuracy, making the 1858 replica the revolver of choice among
N-SSA skirmishers. It features a blued steel frame and
barrel, brass trigger guard and walnut stocks. Bbl. Length:
8"; O.A.L.: 14 1/4"; Weight: 2 lbs. 8 oz.; Rec. Ball
Dia.: .451 R.B. Mod.

"FRONTIERSMAN" 1851 NAVY REVOLVER
This
gun was conceived at the 2002 Navy Arms writer's summit specifically
for the new Frontiersman event in Cowboy Action Shooting.
The gun features a 5 .36 cal. barrel for faster draw and
sight acquisition. The receiver, loading lever and hammer are
beautifully color case hardened. The barrel and cylinder are
charcoal-blue finished. These vibrant colors are accented by
the Frontiersman's German silver-plated backstrap and hand-rubbed
walnut grips. The gun has also been exceptionally timed to ensure
the gun is both accurate and reliable. The Frontiersman revolvers
were used by Jerry Meyer (SASS alias Wolfbait) to
win the Frontiersman event at Mule Camp in 2002.
